Hi, I'm Koby Johnson, a digital marketing enthusiast with a Bachelor's degree in General Marketing and certifications in Promotions and Digital Marketing, along with Entrepreneurship Management from the University of Idaho.
I am passionate about merging creativity with data-driven strategies to craft compelling campaigns that connect brands with their audiences.
Outside of marketing, I enjoy traveling and am always seeking out new experiences. In South East Asia I was inspired by rural traditional cultural practices, deepening my commitment to creating space for keeping an open mind and supporting local communities. Costa Rica Workaway Volunteer 2025:

For over two weeks, I had the opportunity to live and volunteer at a remote mountain retreat, located in the cloud forests of San José de la Montaña, Costa Rica. Surrounded by the rich and abundant wildlife, I contributed to a lifestyle rooted in sustainability, creativity, and community. My days were spent maintaining trails, helping with eco-building projects, and caring for the land; each task deepening my connection to nature and intentional living.

Thailand Hill Tribe Volunteer 2023:

In the mountains of Northern Thailand, I had the privilege of volunteering with two local hill tribe communities dedicated to preserving their cultural and spiritual heritage. My time there included learning about centuries-old traditions, from weaving intricate textiles by hand to preparing meals with ancient recipes passed down through generations. I participated in sacred ceremonies, learned the meanings behind their rituals, and listened to stories that carried the wisdom of the land. This experience has deepened my respect for sustainable cultural preservation and reminded me of the power found in connection, tradition, and mindful living. Through these overnight stays I gained awareness of historical roots of colonial legacies on minority groups in South East Asia-- furthering my respect for their cultural resilience.
